I love it when these little mountain chickadees stay throughout the winter, thus the title ‘Winter-over’ They are so amusing and are easily fed out of one’s hands. Mountain Chickadees are more abundant here in Central Oregon, than are Black-capped chickadees. .

Birds have strong energy, yet they are a calming presence in our lives. Pink and orange are colors associated with energy, but are toned down by line, form, and visual formatting. The backgrounds are vibrant color-scapes to juxtapose with the birds, matching their energy and vibrancy.
