In the spring I am always excited to see the first bluebird. I’ve loved them since I was a little girl in the 2nd grade when I joined The Bluebirds. I also loved the little pin we got to wear to school on meeting days. We moved that summer and I went to a new school and joined the Girl Scouts because all my friends were Girl Scouts, but I’ve always had a fondness for bluebirds, and that little pin of course.
