My inspiration for these paintings came from the rich reds, hot pinks, and oranges of rubies and garnets. The accents are from the blues of zircon, tourmaline, and apatite. The blue colors add a pop of neon and dramatic contrast to the reds.
Karen continues to design beautiful jewelry in addition to fueling her newfound passion of painting.
